Had one board planed in the shop and ran into this issue where it appeared there were no knots in the board but suddenly there are after the planing. Conundrum #1: Can I use the boards with the small knots in the frame, or should I just get more boards without this issue? Second, I have some boards with wavy lines and what appears to be some runoff into the side of the board. Conundrum #2: Can I use those boards for the frames? We’ll see after I do more research.
